After a month spent traversing around the west coast, I've finally made it back home! Yay! I'm so happy... I finally get to do absolutely nothing! No having to pack up tents, or load the car, or spend hours driving... Heck, I don't even have to leave the house if I don't want to. And I don't, really. It's gonna be hot and humid.
Of course, I'm probably going to do some stuff. I missed the last two or three days of school, so I don't know if there's a summer reading list, or if there is, what's on it. School friends have threatened me with death if we don't meet up sometime. I also have a $50 gift card for borders that I need to spend.
Oh! Also- Anniversary-like thing coming up! On the 25th, I will have been on deviantArt for two years! Awesome, huh? I'm gonna have to do something for it,(like a picture or something) 'cause I missed it last year.
I've been seriously considering joining an OC tournament... too bad I can't find one! looks like I missed the rush of summer ones. I wish I could find an interesting one to join. I need something to get me to draw....
Recently, I've started to look really critically at my style. I've found some things that I want to change about it, and correct before it's too much of a habit. But it's hard to criticize my own work. If I could, I'd like to have my friends tell me what they think of my style- what they think needs improvement, and what is noticeable or good about it. I'll submit a few more recent pictures, since I've improved since doing most of the stuff in my gallery. And besides, I do need to submit some new art.

Lin. She’s also known as Linesh, but no one calls her that.

I have no idea. I’m not sure if she does, either.

Female.

Umm... She’s some sort of light-creature, but no one is sure what type exactly.


Appearance


1)If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get?
A few. Her clothes are kind of weird, and her eyes would get some attention. (They’re purple.)

2)Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?
No. She’s a sentient creature of light, after all.

3)What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
Her eyes. Well, if she’s not using her abilities...

4)Would you consider your OC as attractive?
I guess so. Lin doesn’t care, though.

Personality


1)Temper?
Basically nonexistent. She doesn’t like it when people look down on her, though.

2)Does your character ever get depressed?
If she’s upset about not being able to find others of her kind. Or if she’s being treated like an animal.

3)Leader or Follower?
Follower, but she doesn’t stay in groups too much.

4)What is the main aspect of his/her personality?
She’s a good Samaritan. She often goes out of her way to help people.

History

Not that she knows of. She’s trying to find some.

Mostly, she is. After all, no one else cares that much about the light-creatures, except when they are needed. And a sentient one is an annoyance. But she occasionally travels with a wind-elf known as Ruin.

Does being locked up in a basement and treated as a pet count?

4)What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?
Searching the mountains in her country. (most of the light-creatures live there.)

Yep. It’s probably gonna stay that way.

Not really.. She’s too focused to think about such things.

I think so... But I’m not going to ask.

No. It’s a waste of time, in her opinion.

In a sense. But the authorities aren’t out to get her, so she’s relatively safe.

1. She’s a bit too innocent for her own good.
2. She can become much too focused on a task way too easily.
3. Her survival instincts are a bit... skewed.

1. She can make friends easily, when she talks to people.
2. She is a good fighter. Even if it seems like she’s never touched a sword before.

She doesn’t smoke. And she’ll only drink if she doesn’t know it’s alcohol. (she gets drunk very, very easily.)

She doesn’t know that the cooked ones are in any way related to the live ones. She loves cooked chicken, and thinks that the live ones are useless.
